NCL:day 5

Today we went to the main location where the ship was mainly going. Nassau, Bahamas which is the biggest place in the Bahamas. We went there to do one thing. Visit Atlantis. It's the biggest and the funnest in the world that I had seen Since we weren't residents in the area, we just explore the public places which there was a lot. To me, this place is bigger than a Mohegan Sun at our region.
When we got of the ship, we went to a place where lots of people gather. Since my mom's company employees are here, we gathered and went on a van. Our first stop was Atlantis. When we arrived at the location, it was beautiful .I looked around and down .I saw a canal and additionally, the water was a clean that you could literally drink it. Soon we all went inside the hotel and it was like wonderland. The ceiling is like Taj Mahal with the round dome. We went to the resturant area and that place contained an aquarium. It had many fascinating fish. Large small and everything in between. There were even sharks . That amazed me a little. Soon we went to other places. We went to the outside where there were beaches and lots of funstuff. I was a bit impatient because it was very hot like summer in China and it is only winter.
We found a ponnd and there were boat rentals. We took a kayak. I used to go kayaking in ccamp however the boat here is very strange. It had no fence and sometimes, I was about to fall. We were just rowing around and then rain started to fall. Then we rowed more and the rain had ended. That is very strange. In New York, that is ultra rare. Our times was up. We alked to a strange place and it was very hot. It was the place where the swimming pools were. It also had a gigantic water slide but I did not get a very good look at the place. Eventually we were walking and back onto a charter bus. When we arrived I went to the roomy and my parents went to visit places. I was watching television and doing work. I waited so long it was like three days of waiting. After all that waiting my parents came. At night I went swimming and my friend was also there. We were playing tag and going on the water slide. It was very fun and the temperature was just right. It wasn't hot nor cold. we went to eat dinner and and watch a show. The show was the worst thing I ever seen and luckly we didnt have to pay for this. It was about clors and it didn't even have my favorite color which was green. That was the end of today. The End

NCL;day 4

Today was a very fun day. We arrived at a island called Great Sirrup Cay. There I went snorkeling and saw amazing fish. But we still had to get through a boring procedure of geting to the island on a small boat.

When we arrived I changedd and then immediatly, my ddad and I went to purchase a snorkel for me. The hard part was how to put the snorkel one. Soon I got it on and tried to dive. I did it however I didn't stay too long down there. I kept trying and soon, I got used to it. I saw coral reefs and many fasinating fish. The fish were all different. Some of them had yellow and black stripes, another was very big and my favorite was the big fish that had long fins. To me I couldn't quit. Then I saw my friend. We started to play tag. We did get bored of it so we tried to catch fish. We got cups and tried to scopp them up. It was hard because we can't swim fast unlike the fish. They go so fast that thed sand burts up and clouds my view. I just kept trying and trying. Then I just try to see the fish and just stay. When the fish come they get scooped in. However saying it is easier than doing it. I can't hold my breath very long underwater. So all the times I missed. Well at least I having fun. I just kept on snokeling. Then my dad said it was time to go. I was sad because I liked snokeling. Oh well I thought. At least I expierieced a new experience.

NCL: Day 3

It is the third day and today we stopped at a location called Cape Canaveral. The weather was very cloudy and humid. We took a bus that guided us around places. It goes to a shoppping mall, a beach and some other shops to. We went to a shopping mall and just looked around. I saw many shops but it wasn't that big like the one we used to go in Long Island. When we exited the small mall, we wnted to go to the beach. We waited tons of hours and finally a bus came. When we arrived at the beach, it was very cold! On the beach their was a trail of dead fish and it smells like rotton eggs. I was disgusted and curious, I didn't know how they died. We exited the beach very quickly. Then we just looked in some stores opened. It was just a regular day. After all this we went into a van and went to the cruise. The driver said that algae killed the fish. I was very interested about his speech. When we arrived at the pier, we went back to the ship and ate. I was very hungry. Now at evening is my favorite part. The show was about a juggler and he was very funny. Funnier than a comedian. He juggled and it was satisfaction to me todaay after that wierd day outside. When I went out the theater I bursting with laughter. I couldn't control it. that is my story for today.

NCL: Day1

A few years ago, I went off to a cruise liner called the Carnival Triumph. Now on the 2007 winter break, I went to a cruise entitled the Norweigian Gem. The ship is new and extraordinary. I am considered the first passengers of this titanic sized luxurious ship.I saw the enormous sized ship when I got to the port. It haad a unusual design which obtained gems. It had rubies, sapphires and so on. Then we had to get through this retarded procedure of seeing your passports and tickets. I was bored to death. As I soon as we got on board, we first ate at a buffet. Usually I hate buffets but for some reason this buffet was extraordinary. The food was very good. It had anything you desired to eat. The moment we finished, we ventured through the public lounges. (Note: there are private fooms too) We only visited the inside of the ship because the outside is so cold you could be a frozen ice berg! At night, I went out and saw that people were literally swimming. "Mama mia " I thought I was in a hallucination. Soon the boat left the pier. I saw the last of NYC.Its dinner time! We order some food I never heard of. When we got to our main course, the ship started to rock very hard. I got very dizzy that my parents thought I was sick. We finished fast and went to bed. Moments later we went to watch a show. It had magic which is my favorite entertainment.The day was full of fun. Though the road got bumpy and we had to stop but tomorrow I will be back on track.

NCL:day 2

On the second day, we were all on sea. We didn't stop anywhere. The weather was ultra windy like you could fall off any time on the outside decks. The best pert of the day was that I made two new friends on the boat.In the morning, the weather was very windy but for the most part it was a great day. Soon in the afternoon we went swimming and at that time the temperature was cooperating with us. Additionally the pool was heated which made it more enjoyable. There was also a yellow waterslide. When I went up, it was freezing when I was waiting for my turn. When I slid down, I went faster than a motercycle. I found an interesting item. The pool water is salty like the sea however the slide's water is fresh like the water we drink. I found it very strange. Soon we went to our stateroom and got dried up. We decided to have a microscopic expedition around the ship. We ventured to a location where the winds were so strong, I felt like I was about to fall off, so I held any possible thing. After the severe expedition I went to a game room. I saw people playing board games. I thought it might be fun. I person came up to me and asked if I wanted to play chess. While we were at it, we became friends. At night we decide to see a show. This show was aboout songs and dances from all over the world. To me it wasn't that bad excpt for the back grounds. I really liked it. Some of them were as color ful wa the rainbow. When the show ended we went to eat dinner at a french resturant. The plates were my favorite. It was something out of this world. It had vines, bugs, and butterflies. It was extremely decorative.My favorite dish was the frog leg soup. It was green like a ogor but it was good as a hot dog to me. When our main courses came my belly was going to explode if I eat another bite. That's the end of my wonderful second day.

My first camping trip

The summer of 2007, I went on my first camping trip. The day before the camping started, I went to my firend Candace's house for a sleepover. The next morning we'll just go with them. During that night we played "uno" until bedtime. When it was 12:30 a.m, we slept. At 6:00 a.m we woke up to play uno. Eventually we both decided to watch a movie. I let Candance pick which movie we should watch . She decided "Blades of Glory." After the movie was over and finished breakfast, we entertained ourselves with uno again. Approximitly at 10 we left. As we were getting closer to the camp, I saw a lake,, a farm with horses and the next thing I knew was that we were at my campsite. It was called Camp Aquehonga and my troop were at site eleven. My mom and Candance's daddropped my things and said bye. Then we all have to adjust the campsite. We plotted fire buckets near the tents. Our senior patrol leader said theat we should change into our swimming suits because we had to take a swimming test. It was a bit of a long walk to the pool and then a staff told us that we are last to take the test so we decided to head back to camp. We did some random stuff and then headed back to the pool and changed. During the middle of waiting, it started raining. Soon I was in and it stopped raining. I took the swimmers test and failed it beccause of the last lap which was the back stroke. When the whole troop was done, we got food to cook and went to the camp. After the dinner we had we had a welcome assebly. We saw skits and heard songs. At that time it was very late. When we approached our base I went to sleep.

Day two:At 6:20 in the morningwe were waking up . It was freezing when we woke up. I wore my warmest clothes. Thenwe had to get food which the golfors got. After cooking and eating, I was KP, I cleaned the dishes.

We went to our first class. Mine was basketry and most peoples in my troop went there too. THe staff told us how to weave the baskets and then we traveled to the canteen to buy our first basket kit. It was a round one and pretty easy to weave. It was so much fun that I wished I could do it forever. However time was up and time for me to go to mammal study . After the lame intro, we got to the main point. I learned that all mammals have seven characteristics. They are:live birth, high IQ, they raise their young, produce milk , vertebrates, breathe aerobic air, and they all have fur of hair. I was seriously interested in this class. I had to transfer to my new class which was cooking. I had second thoughts about this class but I tried to be interested in this calss. Next was lunch. After the meal was leatherwork. The staff gave us all leather and we would use stamps and pound them in. After thatwe went swimming. THey had a water slide. Iwent so fast that I didn't see anything.When we finished dinner, some kids like me had to go to astronomy or other classes. I learned some new stuff. Then at 9:30 p.m, my friends and I went to look at stars for astromy. The guide was speaking but it was freezing cold that I couldn't concentrate. Class ended and I went to sleep. The next day was the same. Consequently on Wednesday was my lucky day. I dfid the swimmer's test and I passed thanks to Mr. Becker who helped me on the back stroke. THen my friends showed me a place where we go catch frogs. WE had a great time and we caught three frogs intotal. Also dinner was a barbeque. I was so joyful for that day. Thursday, I asked my friend Thomas to go frog catching three forgs intotal. We let them go adn I finished my mammal study report. On Friday the conductor of the mammal study class said I wrote like a high school kid. Also my friends and I went kayaking. It was extreme fun. THe whol camp came to watch a assembly to watch skits and hear songs. My troop went to do a skit . Soon it was over. Saturday we packed up and we left.
I want to come back next year. It was a great experience for me. I came with the mammal study merit badge.

The Journey by Steve Ruan

Zack and his buddy John were packing their things for the upcoming expedition they were going take. They’ll be traveling mostly in a forest with many creatures.
“Yo, John you’ll need a lot of water or Gatorade, a two person tent, two sleeping bag, unlimited supplies of batteries, sixteen sweatshirts and T-shirts, eight pairs of pants, a compass, a rain poncho, a map or an atlas and two pairs of hiking boots. Got all that?” Zack asked
“All check, however we need a lot of food.” John replied
“Got all the food and all the things I told you.” Zack said
Now they headed off to a forest faraway. It was green and so natural.
“Oh snap!” John shouted “Did you remember to bring the ax bag and our pocket knives?”

"yep" answered Zack with confidence.

They continued on their hike until something attracted their eyes. It was a real life cheetah.

"Holy mother, we better get out of here!" whispered Zack

They crept out of the area quickly and they located an exquisite camp site. It had a river with not a lot of a current and not too high grass.Zack pithched the tent and John cooked some beef andcornwith gatorade.

"Ah, a perfect meal to end the a hard working day.

Chapter two: The next day, Zack unpitched the tent and John still cooked the foodwhich was eggs, bread and milk. When breakfst was done, they took off. Out of the bluecame flying sown a mad fast birdand took Zack's hat.

"What in the world full of horshoe flies and marshmallows would take my hat?"

Zack was so md because he worked very hard for that hat so he took outhis pocket knife and went after it After a few minutes he still couldn't get it . He putted his knife down and threw rocks, branches at his antagonist and eventually the enemy was down.Zack and John continued their expedition. From a distance they sited a grizzly bear with her cubs apprehending fish.
"Look at that" exclaimed John
" I see" Zack said" I'll take some pictures of it. "click click went the camera.
"Now that's enchanted." Zack said
As they continued on thay approached a enormous mountain.
"Should we scale it?" Zack asked.
"Why not" John replied" consequently, we've got to eat down here.
They each made their own sandwhich and finished it quickly.
Chapter 3: It was approximitly five in the afternoon. They were onnly on the bottom and it was chilly. They putted on their snow jackets and their warm sweatshirts.
"I thinkit's enough hiking for today." John said
"I agree" Zack said" I'll pitch the tents and you'll cook the food."
After they ate their mealthey went to bed early so they could wake up early. About five in the norning the woke up eating a banana adn orange juice.
" Now let us procede to our journey." John exclaimed
Consequently, things weren't going so well on their journey. First, they were goig up preety quick which obtain little oxygen. Then it was going chilly and finally a blizzard struck.
"Yo, John.hang on tight." Zack said
Usually John would say" sure thing dude," but this time he didn't. Zack knew that.
"John? Where are you? " Zack asked
No reply
"Oh my gawd" Zack said with astonishment."I'm lost!"
But worser than that was that Zack had the tent, John doesn't. John has all the the lighter, some dry wood and the flashlights, Zack doesn't. Luckily they both have bread and ham. Consequently, John will die of hyperthermiaand both might die of tuberculosis.
Chapter4:John also knew that he was lost so he immediatly gathered big and long sticks of wood . He used them to biuld a tepee. When he was done, he covered it with a towel so that snow won't come in. Then he used some stones to make a fire pit and put some sticks inside to make a fire.
Zack on the other hand was having a hassle making a fire. First, he tried rubbing two sticks together but nothing happened. Second he tried rubbing two stones together and still nothing came on fire. So eventually he established a fire pit and cleaning it. When he was done assembling a fire pit the sticks were dry, he started rubbing them together and then a fire came out. Now he stay warm and cook his food.
John could also stay warm just not that of a luxurious and a relaxing stay. Why? BecauseJohn has a sleeping bag but the tepee was smalland if one stick falls, the whole thing falls and it's bound to land on him.
The very next day, John decided to look for Zack and Zack decided to stay. He tried to make a tepee fire which very big. They soon found each other.
" Where were you?" Zack asked
"Never mind that." John replied "Lets just continue."
Chapter 6: A few days later they scaled the whole mountain and they saw eveerything. The vision was so clear and beautiful that they wanted to stay here forever.
" Lets camp here tonight." Zack said
"No problem" John replied
As usual, Zack pitched the tent and John cooked the food. The next morning they took pictures and left. Along the trail they saw
four men armed with guns around a camp fire.
"What are you guys doing out here?" asked Zack
"Well we werehiking and then we lost our patrol." said a soldier.
"You could come with us." John said
"Sure!" shouted all the soldiers.
Son enough something that made their eyes caught....
Chapter 7: They saw a cave and heard guns going off.
"I think their are burglars in those caves stealing minerals!" whispered a soldier " I think so because civilians or police officers don't real use those types of rapid fire guns and I'm in the army."
"Let's check it out. Everybody armed?" a soldier asked
"Yes sir" exclaimed everybody.
They went into the cave slowly and silently. Then they heard voices.
"We are going to make a lots of money" said a person with an accent
"Yes we are. Hehehe." another person shouted.
Zack and the crew knew what to be done. They had to stop them in a way.
"One of you guys alert the camp." Zack said.
"We don't know where it is?" A soldier said. "But we know our camp number. All we need is a phone."
"John, give them the emergency cell phone." Zack exclaimed
While the soldier was talking they were thinking of a plan. Then out of the blue
"What are you dimwits doing here!!!!!!!!!!!" yelled a big dude.
" You have no right to steal this stuff." shouted Zack
"Put your hands up and we won't do harm." shouted a soldier.
"You're telling me to put my hands up. No no no my friend. It is you who want to put your hands up." said the big dude who's name is Baxter. Then he whistled. A whole militia armed came.
"How many is there?" a soldier questioned Zack.
"Over 200 probably." Zack answered
Chapter 8:They were all very scared and didn't know what to do. They hoped that the army base was near.
"We could try distracting them until the army arrives." whispered Zack.
"Lets try it." whispered a soldier
"Yo what sup" shouted John
"Huh"exclaimed Baxter
"So what are you going to do with all that gold?" asked Zack
"SHUT UP NINCONPOOPS!!!!" shouted Baxter.
"We really need another way out."said Zack
The next day they were all dreary and Baxter and his gang decided to kill them.
"We putted stachels and half a canteen of oil"
"Stop right there thieves!" shouted a man on the horse.
"I'm afraid you are to late." Baxter said evily. "The stachels are already down to two minutes. Men get out of here with our emergency exit hole."
"Hop on these two horses quick." said the man.
The soldiers and Zack and John did exactly what he said. They all ran away. Then "BOOM"the fire came out of the cave and everyone was ok.
Chapter 9: "We know the way from here." Zack said
"Take the horse with you" The man said
"Thank you" said John.
Soon enough they were home.
"Now that was just crazy." John said.
"Next time we should go to a foreign country where there is civilization rather than a forest and get to near death." said Zack.

Fun day:Maybe not

The sky was blue. It seemed great but it was cold Sunday morning. I found out that we were going to Seaside Heights on the road to the place. It was in New Jersey. There were game stands amd resturants on a boardwalk. Best of all the casinos children could enter. Though the casinoswas mostly like an arcade. We were walking and came across a basketball shooting stand. It seemed easy but when I shot... I missed. What I saw was good and bad. It was like an amusment park. With roller coaster. Apparently most of the rides were closed. I wanted to ride Moby Dick. It spun up then down loke waves. Then I was shivering of frightness and of the coldness. So we didn't go. Next thing I knew, we were finding lunch. After a long time we found a resturant when I could have played 6 random games. Then we had to waitwhich I could have played 3 more random games. After the lunch break, mom gave me five dollars to spend on any gamese. I knew what I wanted to play. We came across a wheel of fortune. I didn't want to play it but someone forced me to play it. The prizes were electronics. Obviously I lost and wassted my money. After that I was very disappointed. For a short time we left. I wish next time no tortures so I can play freely.

The upside down birthday party

When we arrived at my friend Candace's home. It was her birthday so to be respecful, we celebrate it. We started of the party when we were the only ones so we were practicing a duet. I play the piano as for Candance, she plays the violin. After a short time the rehersal was over because the duet was a secret and later be a surprise. We don't want anyone to know it. A child came to the house named Cindy. Candace went striaght to her. Later they sarted playing. When I entered the room, I found that they were setting up a game. I decided to help. As I colored, I talked to the people around me. Atlast we were finished. Next, while the girls were playing horses, I was playing legos. I found out that a lot of the pieces were missing. Then, Candance told me that Victor, a kidergardener wrecked all of the stuff. Then I told her that if he was here right now I would beat him up. I don't care if I nget into trouble, I care that he cries. (Just kidding. But I would ake him upset for ruining her toys and belongings) During that, people kept on begging me to play the piano. Then I got really upset , then I cried. ( Note: That's how I get away with things.) When I finally chilled down, everyone came and decided to watch T.V. Then we all started to get bored. Next we planned to play hide and seek. Eileen was always the last one to be found. She is the best hider. Candace was so excited that she opened the presents we gave her so far. I decided to watch what they were doing and how they played it until dinnertime. The dinner was real neat especially the chiken nuggets. They tasted just like the ones my school served at lunch. It seems that Candace starts everything because when everyone hasn't even finish eating, she just grabbed a dance mat called "Dance Mat 2"Later we were going crazy. Especially me. I made my own dance called the "Boom Shaca Laca." Everyone was laughing crazil and wild like a herd of wild buffalo.
